At the latest IHEEM Healthcare Estates Expo and Awards VIP delegates were greeted by the Wandsworth Healthcare team, in the VIP Lounge as part of Wandsworth’s commitment to high levels of customer service and satisfaction on its new IPiN nursecall systems.
IHEEM VIPs talk about trends for the future of nurse call
Over 360 hand picked VIPs came to relax, get free drinks and chill out areas and to discuss future nurse call system projects.
The trends we picked up at the event included particular interest in hospital alert systems and mobile applications for nurse communications as well as a commitment to using wired systems for reliability and ensuring that all systems meet the strict HTM compliance regulations. Furthermore, IHEEM members discussed the need to show successful implementation of IP nurse call citing Wandsworth’s unique previous success in doing this at both the Walton Centre Trust and South Tyneside Hospital.
Excellence in healthcare supported by a leader in nurse call technology
Wandsworth, providers of IP nurse call systems, and wireless nurse call technology, were also delighted to sponsor and present the ‘Estates and Facilities Team of the Year’ award at the conference Dinner and Awards evening.
The shortlist, including East Cheshire NHS Trust, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and Wrightington Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust were all highly commended for their management of healthcare services, however it was the Leeds Teaching Hospital’s Facilities Team who took home the award, due to their demonstrated outstanding achievement, performance and delivery of estates and facilities services.
Nurse call in the 21st Century discussed at IHEEM
Wandsworth’s IP nurse call specialist, Terry Boarer was also pleased to be asked to present as part of the IHEEM conference. Terry’s informative and enlightening presentation, focused on the changing nature of nurse call systems, was a hit with IHEEM delegates.
